When I walk into a room, the first thing I usually look for is the lighting fixtures! I love a wide variety of them and have seen how they really transform an entire room. Chic lighting fixtures can get pretty pricey but I found a great brand, Sylvania, that’s a great value!
Here are some ideas for the different rooms in your house that are easy to switch and have some with! The first room I have done with their lighting is my mudroom. My mudroom is one of my favorite rooms, even though it’s probably the smallest! I love that it has some of my kid’s toys, some shoes and it’s the last room I see before I leave. The room is pretty colorful and I wanted to give it some gravitas to an otherwise super bright decor. After doing that I was able to switch out my “kid rug” to a more grown-up rug and not have it feel out of place.
