It’s Fall! There truly is no better time for fashion than Fall, and although we all know Fall leads to Winter, I’m excited it’s here. One of my favorite go to items for fall is a leather skirt, this Fall the leather skirt is pleated. They can initially look a bit intimidating but it’s suprisingly easy to wear for any occasion and always comfortable. This fall staple is easy to style and really versatile for work (if you ever go in), elevating a look while being comfortable or date night. Here’s 5 ways to style a pleated skirt. Well 6 really! 🙂

How To Style a Pleated Skirt
Pleated skirts have had an impressive run and are here to stay. They are super flattering on most body types and the vegan leather gives it a bit of an edge! This is my exact vegan leather pleated skirt here: Also available in brown.
1) LOOK ONE: Transtional Fall
In this first look I’m using the a summery embroidered white top because it’s still not too cold and I’m still wanting to use some of my summery bits. I styled this look with a wide waist brown belt, brown ankle booties, and a pouch bag! See exact or like links here.
2) LOOK TWO: Leather on Leather Fall trend
Adding a neutral leather or vegan leather jacket makes the same look a bit more put together and definitely more Fall style. The all leather look is softened by the dual tone of the coat and accessories.
3) LOOK THREE: Soft and Feminine
I love this easy borderline loungewear look because it’s both chic and easy. The cropped cashmere soft v-neck sweater hits just above the waist line and softens up the structured look of the skirt. This loungewear luxe vibe feels just as good because the sweater is so comfortable, as is the skirt and it makes very a very liveable look. I styled the look with classic square toe slip on shoes, another lasting Fall trend for 2020 and a large Fendi tote bag to stuff whatever I want in it! A similar style of bag that’s better for budget here.
4)LOOK THREE: Luxe
I love how luxe and proper this look is with the simple add of a faux fur neckline add-on. Even though the moto vegan leather jacket is a bit tough, it softens up with the fur collar, proper handbag and leapard pring high heels This look is probably the strongest, most powerful look of the 5 ways to style a pleated skirt.

5) LOOK FIVE: Country meets city chic
I love the juxtaposition of a hearty knit sweater with no sleeves. The one I’m wearing is just thin enough to half tuck in and cinch with a double wrap belt. The double wrap belt is also a must have Fall trend. I finished this look with a high heeled moto ankle booties and a bit of a rusty pop of color with my handbag.
