And just like that it’s March! Sunnier days are almost here guys and the birds are starting to get it together in the morning and chirping! With less (don’t want to jinx it) snow on the ground we can actually think about wearing pumps, ballet flats, slippers, anything but snow shoes. I love the quote “I can’t concentrate in flats” because I think that’s actually true for me. My shoes don’t have to be super high but I need them to give at least an inch! I’ve had my eye on these Manolo Blahnik shoes for weeks, but wait! Mine are Audrey Brooke, they look identical but at a fraction of the price. I love investment shoes because they truly last forever and feel AMAZING, but with this type of style, I couldn’t commit to the price! You have to pick your battles 🙂
The inspo was based off this “dressy” outfit that is a great end of week dress when you want to focus on FUN! I love the shape of this dress because it’s super flattering on most body types, twirls and very feminine and wrinkle resistant. The lightweight leather jacket adds a layer and pulls it together with the neutral color! Then, I added the magic slippers! Audrey Brooke makes a few colors in this style and they are crazy comfortable. I chose the blue denim one because they seemed the most neutral and didn’t have shoes that color. I had so much fun in this outfit, hope you like it! Do you have shoe recommendations that are inspired on more expensive shoes? Did they scratch the itch or did you still want to get the real deal?!
