I found the perfect hot pink pumps to add a little color to an otherwise dreary day. I have never met a neutral I didn’t like, so sometimes color is a bit challenging for me. I love seeing it on other people but sometimes tire of seeing it on myself. For the longest time I have been craving hot pink shoes to go with jeans. I found these perfect ones from Vince Camuto at the right price and comfort level!
The color I got is Fuchsia Suede (they have a denim color as well) and what caught my eye was the cut on the shoe. It goes a little lower on the sides which I think makes your legs look longer and your arches more accentuated (the ballerina in me still cares about these dumb things). To continue the “pop” of color I wore a pink and fuchsia bodysuit that’s really soft and slinky and also pretty comfortable. The jeans I’m wearing are some of my favorite frayed jeans from last year that roughen up the look a little bit. It’ so funny how you can’t find jeans without holes that easily anymore. I picked up my 2 tone handbag to neutralize the look a bit and grabbed some of my favorite statement earrings that were a gift from Anthropologie from a fashionista friend so I don’t have exact link for those. This and this are good substitutes!
I finished the look with my favorite trench coat right now, see post about here. I was so relieved when Samir (my amazing photographer) and I shot this look because it was a frigid day and we had shot other Spring outfits and couldn’t wait to get into pants and a coat! My sister and I always laugh because she is extremely functional about her outfits and she says she can’t relate to wearing anything but a North Face jacket in the Winter. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pops of color….what other bright colors are you into this season? XO, Z
