So excited to share several corset outfit ideas for Spring! You can check out my Fall Corset styling here if you want even more ideas! The corset is a lovely way to level up any outfit and take basics from ho-hum to ta-da. I’m using a couple of different corsets in this styling video: 1) tight knit, strapless, sweatheart neck, 2) Tank strap corset, and 3) patterned corset. In the video I’m also wearing a corseted silk dress (with pockets) that’s a huge Spring win, and currently on sale! PS Celine inspired sunglasses throughout linked.
Corset Outfit Ideas for Spring
LOOK ONE- NEON
In addition to rocking out the knit corset, I’m sporting another huge Spring trend: neon, tennis-ball green! If you’re afraid of neon, and colors in general you can start with little hints of it with a traditional style such as a button-down shirt. The classic style feels unexpected with this intense color! The corset and neon color combined make for a fashion moment that you’ll want to sport after seeing friends after a whole year. 🙂
LOOK TWO- Classic Black & White
The look that never lets us down, a white top (linked) and jeans, gets an upgrade! Whether it’s a t-shirt, white button down or even tank top, add a corset to your favorite white top for instant pizazz. This look works well with the tank corset also, especially with a t-shirt.
LOOK THREE- SPORTY STREETSTYLE
Not sure why biker shorts have more of a moment than regular leggings, but they’re still holding strong after a whole year! Whether you pick a solid or pattern biker shorts look, you can add some street style cred by adding a corset, bustier and layer with a denim jacket. Finish the look with chunky boots or classic white sneakers!
LOOK FOUR- BLAZER LOOK
A smart blazer can salvage almost any item! During Spring, they are virtually my coat and instantly change a ho-hum look to brilliant. This A.L.C. Blazer is on sale, so don’t miss this epic cut that is friendly year-round. In this instance, the corset is simply a chic layering piece and not the focol point. If you’re feeling uncertain about how to start styling a bustier/corset, this is a safe route.
LOOK FIVE- OVER A DRESS
I’m so so happy that I finally found this dress to share with you! Styling this outfit is really simple. Find a dress that is beltless, bodycon, straight down or flowy and put a corset on it! This button-down is a bit unexpected but it worked really well in this version here of how to style a corset, so I wanted to try it with the full length cut.
For more ways on how to style a corset, make sure to check out the video and this previous styling post for more bustier/corset ideas! Love, Z
