Here’s my go-to healthy shelter at home grocery list! Please note, that these will vary from city to city and conditions are rapidly changing. This list is meant to be a suggestion for they types of nutrients that are helpful in managing your weight or “healthier”. I also tried to list things that can be stored that aren’t just OREOS. 🙂 Although I have them stored as well. Double stuffed!
Healthy Grocery List for Shelter at Home
- Apples, Oranges, or Pears, Carrots, Potatoes- age well, longer shelf life
- Hard cheeses
- Cashews, Almonds, Walnuts & Peanuts, & Seeds
- Canned foods: all! I love tomatoes, chickpeas, corn & pineapple.
- Meat/Protein delivery service such as Butcher Box or from your grocery store (easy freeze)
- Dairy: milk, yogurt (can be frozen), eggs if you’re lucky!
- Bulk foods such as beans, rice, flour, popcorn and other grains
- Chocolate. Hello!
- Honey, Peanut Butter and Butter, Soy Butter, etc.
- Produce- Freeze or Grow your own Garden! See how here.
