I’m excited to share my morning routine for happiness with Truvaga and give you realistic ideas to implement during back to school. As holistic wellness gains mainstream awareness, it’s great to see more and more options to feel our best. It’s key to develop a morning routine you can stick with! I’m sharing my initial experience and thoughts in the Truvaga stress relief device that activates the vagus nerve. Stress doesn’t let up with an endless to do list, kids, workload and today’s lifestyle norms. Therefore, it’s no wonder it’s so difficult for us to fall asleep, enjoy great moods and feel less anxious. Many times, we turn to things that cause more stress in the long run like alcohol or binge watching shows. When I heard about Truvaga, and it’s benefits, I had to give it a try and add it to my morning routine with Truvaga:
My Morning Routine for Happiness
I walk you through my morning routine with Truvaga in my video, and here are some key moments in my morning routine for happiness and productivity! I am not a morning person and it takes a lot of will power to wake up and stick to a program, but I promise, it’s worth it!
Firstly, I begin with hydration! I love drinking lukewarm water in the morning to stay regular. Then I can’t do anything without coffee, so I make sure to drink a few sips before starting…..my prayer and meditation! I also try to clean the kitchen the night before to make sure I don’t wake up to a huge mess. After a few sips of coffee, I read from a devotional book and pray before setting a 10 minute timer to meditate. I discovered the magic of crystal bowls last Fall, and listening to a crystal bowl soundtrack helps me immensely!
After that, I usually workout for 45 minutes (if I’m not teaching my fitness class later) and apply Patchology eye pads to depuff! Then, I start my Truvaga stress relief device! It stimulates the vagal nerve, and is a total game changer.
What IS the Vagus Nerve?
The Vagus nerve is what the Truvaga device is directly stimulating for wellness. It’s one of the 12 cranial nerves and the one of the ones responsible for actions that we do unconciously (autonomic) such as digestion, heart rate, breathing, cardiovascular activity and reflexes like coughing and swallowing. As a gut-health advocate, the vagus nerve function sounds crucial in overall well-being!
How Truvaga Helps Stress
Truvaga is a hand-held device that stimulates the vagus nerve, which in turn helps reduce stress and anxiety. Along with that users report an increase in focus, and improvement in mood and sleep. With just 2 minutes a day, twice a day in the morning and before bed, you can experience significant changes your stress levels. The Truvaga device is programmed to last 350 sessions, so if you use as directed it will last 6 months before needing a battery replacement. The best part is that it’s a 30 day money-back guarantee! Therefore, if you’re curious but generally risk averse or skeptical, you can take a chance on something that will probably help your stress a great deal. Risk-free, get it here!
My Experience With Truvaga
I’ve been using Truvaga for 4 months and by now it’s just part of my daily routine, like brushing my teeth! Along with ease of use, it’s easy to travel with, which is key because I’m frequently on a plane. I also love that it sets the tone for those 2 minutes in the beginning of the day to breathe and think while I use it. Likewise, at the end of a long day, I look forward to the me-time of slowing down and using my Truvaga.
For me, the biggest change I’ve seen is in my ability to fall asleep. I’m a night owl and can easily skip bedtime. My mind usually races before bed and I have a lot of energy (but not so much in the AM, when I’m supposed to). It’s a game changer to be able go to sleep within minutes instead of tossing and turning. I have also noticed better digestion and less bloating (gut health?!). And most importantly, in the next couple of weeks will pay more attention to my overall mood, which is hard to be objective with, in my opinion. Haha!
Add Truvaga to your Back To School Morning Routine
As back to school time rolls around, it’s a great time to try new routines and indulge in self-care. The older I get, the more I realize self-care is actually not selfish at all and a critical part of serving others. If we don’t feel good, our loved ones feel it, and ultimately sabotages what we work so hard for. The household runs on mommy wi-fi, so it’s important to keep it humming with a strong signal. Whether or not you’re a mom, adding Truvaga to your daily routine is a great 30 day risk-free, bucket list item to add to your back to school routine! XO, Z
