As excited as I am for a full-fledged Fall wardrobe, there’s 5 things from Summer that I’m not stashing away just yet!
The bamboo bag – there’s so many amazing new bags out there but let’s face it, this bag stole the show this summer and there were lots of price point options and while it’s not a great day to day bag, it definitely makes a statement and goes with nearly everything!
Dewy Skin – Every Fall I feel like the look is bold lips, matte skin, dramatic eye, this Fall they’ve thrown glitter into the mix at some shows including Oscar de la Renta, so I’m keeping my fresh, not too powdered dewy skin look! My favorite multi-tasking product as you know is BeautyCounter Dew Skin. It does a lot of heavy lifting; SPF, moisture and light coverage, I wear it every day!
Polka Dots– They dress up, dress down, give you a retro look or a classic look, depending on accessories. These are keepers and my favorite dress right now is this one by Anthropologie.
Big D*d Sneakers– Not only are the comfortable, give you some height and come in a multitude of shades…..you can freakin’ walk in them! I will add booties, boots, and the whole slew of new items coming out but these are going nowhere! My faves here!
Maxi Dresses & Jumpsuits– Summer always makes me crave the ease of the maxi dress and fun nature of a jumpsuit! These are both keepers for me through the Fall! I’m excited to pair big dresses with all sorts of boots. As for jumpers, since there’s been a huge rise in leotards & unitards in gym wear, I don’t think this concept is going away anytime soon, which for a long time felt super retro.
