This is the first summer in a long time where we’ll be home most of the time! Therefore, I have taken advantage to focus more on the vibe. Usually, I’m so busy and hardly home that my home has been more of a launch/landing pad, than a haven. With work travel, running two busineses and two busy boys, I was hardly home. Bedroom Vibe- Summer Refresh Pieces
Since going to Telluride last Winter for our family ski trip, I’ve been looking craving rustic pieces! Inspired by our rental ski lodge home, Ralph Lauren’s Telluride home decor, and a Western vibe, I wanted a cow hide rug! I found this really fun affordable one here. The saucer chair is one I’ve had for several years since I was nursing, and it’s still a bedroom fave for me!

Summer Refresh: Heading Outdoors
Chicago springs are notoriously chilly, so I haven’t been super motivated to get my backyard completely sorted but I’ve got a little headstart. Nick planted a Peony bush for my birthday this month. It’s my favorite flower and it’s literally available for what seems to be 2 weeks at the market. Next up is upgrading our BBQ system, adding some hammock chairs, serving trays and more. Here’s what I’m eyeing.
